One thing that's nice about New York is that it's possible to get restaurant-level desserts without going to a restaurant. Dominique Ansel Kitchen is one of those places where you can order dessert that's made only after you order it. Prices are slightly higher but the portions increased to match, which is always a welcoming sight in the city. We tried two items even though it would be very filling, since using dessert as your main course on a weekend lunch is a good idea. I believe it's FDA approved actually...
