I always wondered what kind of business food trucks do when the weather isn't perfect. Usually during nice weather, I refuse to line up for Uncle Gussy's. It don't matter if they win Midtown Lunch streetmeatpalooza or if they're all over the Vendy's. I only get in line for shit on vacation. We went to check out the new-ish Whitney Museum by the Meatpacking District the other week. The weather was gorgeous and you could see the Freedom Tower in the skyline very easily. You wouldn't think a view from a balcony could make you feel small, but somehow at street level it's often harder to understand the scope of everything; New York moves so fast, with energy levels so high around you, it's often too easy to think all of it is normal. We didn't dine at Untitled and given that they're in the news this week for altering their business strategy as it pertains to tipping, it would have been great to post about that.
